Actually the 7' 6" World Traveler Quad Surfboard Bag was out of stock so you refunded me. I do have two more of them 6' 6" and 8' 6" that I've had several years now and they are pretty darn good travel bags. Balanced and sturdy with solid wheels.

Simply the best.
I bought this World Traveler Quad to replace my first World Traveler that is now 18 years old and has been to Australia, Indo, Florida, and to Costa Rica annually for nearly a decade. These things are bomb proof they can handle being strapped to roofs and chucked around airports. The old bag is still kicking but I needed more room as my kids are now surfing and need space in the bag for their boards. The new bags are just an upgrade from what I had before more lash points, a little slimmer at the top but equally sturdy. I look forward to many more years of use.
Boards made it safe. Nose too narrow for 7'6 midlength
Great board bag. Travelled to Mexico with two 7'0 midlengths. The nose of the bag is way too narrow for a typical 7'6 midlength that is not a gun or step up. I would recommend Dakine to update the design to accommodate modern eggs with wider nose riding noses for more versatility.

World Traveler Quad Bag from Seattle to Hawaii
I flew with Alaska Airlines on a recent trip to the Big Island of Hawaii from Seattle. The World Traveller did fantastic at sheltering my surf apparatus, I choose a wave ski. It barely fit in width wise but had plenty of depth. The padding was key, it received no dings or dents! Also the tie down attachment points were awesome for transportation on the roof rack. Fin pocket was useful as well!
Good stiff
Great product and service
board bag
quality. good delivery
Decent bag but no side handles and awkward to carry.
Overall a decent bag, good quality. A little bulky on the backend. NO SIDE HANDLES! And yes, I know this is a wheeled bag. But no side handles seems like a big miss on this bag. The issue I have with this bag is no side handles. When I am in the airport I usually stand the bag on rail as I shuffle it through lines etc. If you lay the bag down flat the top straps are fine to pick it up for loading but super awkward for moving the bag around. Think about trying to lift the bag using the top handles when the bag is flat, it isn't easy when the bag is loaded up. You cant always wheel the bag around due to tighter spaces and lines. If you need to carry it the bag it is very difficult. The other problem is if you grab the straps on the side to move it the strap unloads and goes loose.
Great Bag
Just got the 8'6" and it easily fits four thick and wide boards. I just packed two each for my wife and I for an up coming trip, we'll see how it holds up, but easily fit 8'0, 7'8, 6'8 and 5'4 with plenty of room for roof straps, towels, wetsuit tops etc. Our last trip was the last time I'll ever travel with a mid-length bag that doesn't have wheels lol. It has internal and external compression straps which are essential. As other people mentioned, I would have given 5 stars if it had side handles.

does the 9-6 fit noseriders ?
Do you make a hardliner surfboard case?
What is the actual internal length for the 8' 6" WORLD TRAVELER QUAD SURFBOARD BAG? And what is the external length? Thanks
Would like to purchase the world traveler 7’6”. Do you know if and when it will be available? Thanks
Hi Dillon, Thank you for reaching out to Dakine. The World Traveler series is one of Dakine's best sellers! Unfortunately, I'm not seeing any units inbound at the moment. I should have more information in September. Thanks, Mike
Is there additional length built into this bag? For example, could a 6'8" fit into the 6'6" bag?
Would the 7’6” bag fit a 7’6” board along with 2 additional boards under that length? Thanks! Chris
Will this bag in the 7'6" hold my current board (7'6" x 21 x 2 3/4) and two additional shortboards or would you recommend sizing up? Thanks!
