Perfect backpack for 1st grade

This backpack is a perfect size to fit full size books and notebooks without being too large for a child. My son is 6yo and loves his backpack. Great quality, looks great in person.

Just right

I truly believe it’s the right decision I made, the size of it is just right. Plus I tend to overload my backpack because of the size I have to limit what I can carry, which is great. plus it’s a very durable product.

love love love it

This is the best backpack size i had for a day trip. is just perfect! my family and I take ours everywhere, they are particularly good for excursions and day trips. Only the big boys of the family find it a bit too small on the shoulders (it is youth-oriented after all). Overall we love it!

Good quality backback

I purchased this backpack for my 10 year old. It does work for him though I will probably purchase a larger size for him soon and pass this on to his younger brother. I think it works well for a 4th grader who doesn't have many books to carry but I think as he needs more books this will be too small. But the quality of the backpack feels great, I think it will be one that lasts a few years and I'm so glad for that! The pattern is nice and the front chest clip is good for balance. Definitely a good bag

I like the backpack and it’s great quality, but it’s not big enough for school. I bought it for my 6 year old and I can’t pack enough in it. Great for a light day trip bag for kids.

Love Dakine backpacks

Perfect for my 9 year old grandson for 4th grade. These backpacks really last. My husband and I both have the larger one. This is a good choice for adults looking for a smaller backback too. Anyway, my grandson loves it!

Great Backpack!

I bought this bag for my 9 year old sons diabetes supplies. It is fantastic for that. I’m the main compartment there is a laptop pouch which I use for his kit. On the front there is an insulated pocket for snacks , as well as one fleece lined zipper pocket which can fit a phone and another non fleece lined front zippered pocket that can fit a phone too. It is not big enough for school supplies unless it is for a kindergarten or grade one student. Fantastic backpack.

Question: Will this backpack fit a standard size school folder (12.5 inch by 9.5 inch)? I am aware of the dimensions of the backpack but the taper at the top of the bag means the dimensions can be deceiving.

Question: Will the water bottle pocket fit my 32oz hydro flask? Will the insulated food pocket fit the average-sized full lunch box?

Answer: The Campus 18L S is a smaller backpack. I would recommend bumping up to the Campus 25L or 33L as it will have more room. The insulated cooler can pack a smaller lunch; soda can, sandwich, & fruit. Yes, I do believe the pack can fit a 32oz Hydro Flask.
